Prioritizing Play for Minnesota’s Native Youth: A Playspace Quality Analysis

Published in April 2026, this study was a first-of-its kind effort to shed new light on a critical issue: equitable access to safe, high-quality playspaces for Native youth across Minnesota. Conducted by KABOOM!, this assessment analyzed the condition, distribution and accessibility of playspaces serving Native youth across both reservation and urban communities. Digital Wellbeing for Minnesota Native Youth: Examining Educators’ and Youth Professionals’ Perspectives

This report, published in March 2026, examines how technology and digital media (TDM) use affects the wellbeing of Native youth in Minnesota. Additional goals of the research include understanding the current strategies used to support Native youths’ digital wellbeing and identifying the supports that are still needed.
